UCHISOTO is a multidisciplinary studio that focuses on creating spaces that are aesthetic, functional , and relevant.

OUR DESIGN  ETHOS:

• Not conforming to the ideas & norms of the current design scenario practiced globally.We take immense pride in challenging ourselves to create our version of unique and out-of-the-box thinking.

• Fluid Designs-  Seamless designs (where there is free movement within the space without any obstruction)

• Drawing influences from the simplest things such as childhood experiences , memories, emotions..The Intangibles.

• Intentional Designs- Creating meaningful, sensible, immersive, engaging spaces that are unpretentious or imposing.

• Attention to Detail

• Imperfections are Accepted , Embraced and Celebrated - We consciously steer away from spaces that are clinical/cold or synthetic/ made up . Imperfections are natural and add to the overall character and beauty of the space.

• Choice of Material- We choose materials that are simple but have immense potential when imagined & explored in various forms. Wood, Stone, Concrete, IPS, Brass, etc. They do not impose nor do they subdue. We work with base material and add layers of complexity with complementary materials.
